HONOURABLE MINISTER OF STATE
Born on the 4th July, 1961. Hon. Mustapha Baba Shehuri is an indigene of Maiduguri Metropolitan Area Council, Borno State. He completed his primary school at Gamboru 1 Primary School, Maiduguri from 1972 to 1978 were he obtained First Leaving School Certificate and went further to attend Government Secondary School, Damagun from 1978 to 1983 were he obtained his Senior Secondary School Certificate. He then preceded to University of Maiduguri from 2000 to 2002 we he obtained an Advanced Diploma in Public Administration and from 2004 to 2007 were he obtained a B.Sc. Sociology and Anthropology from the University of Maiduguri.
PROFESSIONAL ACTIVITIES CARRIED OUT BY HON. MUSTAPHA BABA SHEHURI
Currently serving as the Minister of State for Power, Works and Housing of the Federal Republic of Nigeria from Nov. 11, 2015 till date.
From 2014 to 2015 he served as the Protem Deputy Chairman, All Progressive Congress (APC), Borno State from.
He engaged in large scale mechanized farming from 2011 to 2014.
In 2010 to 2011 Hon. Mustapha Baba ran for the Gubernatorial Candidate, Congress for Progressive Change (CPC), Borno State.
He was a Member, House of Representatives, Maiduguri Metropolitan Federal Constituency from 2007 to 2011.
He was also a Member, Maiduguri Metropolitan Area Council Constituency, Borno State House of Assembly from 2003 to 2007.
